Nah, it's just a concept, a battle cry, a protest chant. You decide how to live it. Write your own manifesto, or borrow Wendell Berry's.

Is this against AI?

Yes and no. It's against AI replacing the uniquely human, and it's against us humans being reshaped according to the patterns and values of generative AI, which seems to happen anytime we use a technology heavily. Like Bartleby the scrivener, you're free to say with regards to AI, "I would prefer not to." But neither is this a strictly abstentious gesture. The fella who made this site uses AI in a few specific ways.

Was this made with AI?

No, that would be grossly incongruous. This site was hand-built by me, Vic King, and I hired my guy Tom for the lettering and my dude Raiky for the doodles. All the words were written by myself alone.

Can I put the badge on my website et cetera?
